FAQ
Do you require an appointment?
Yes, we currently only accept appointments for full grooms. Walk in a la carte services are permitted.
How long does it take to groom my dog?
Duration depends on how your pet is reacting to all services being done, some pets require more breaks, for us to go slowly, extra kennel drying time etc. We typically give a time frame anywhere between 2-5 hours.
How often should I bring my dog for grooming?
For most dogs we recommend between 1-2 months, depending on breed/ coat. Breeds with longer hair that mats easily and covers eyes and paws like Poodles, Shih Tzus, Maltese, Yorkshire Terriers, and Afghan Hounds should get professional grooms every 4-6 weeks. Some other longer hair dogs like Golden Retrievers benefit most from a professional groom every 6-10 weeks depending on level of home care for de-shedding to maintain skin health.
Can I be present for my dog groom?
We do not allow pet parents to be present in the salon during grooms, for the safety of the pet, us and the pet parent.
How old does my puppy need to be for it’s first groom?
We recommend for puppies to start around 3 months of age, and for them to have started their puppy vaccines.
Why should I tip my groomer?
Tips help groomers maintain their equipment, and product. Groomers typically are paid commission and do not get the full amount of each groom.
Can my dog be groomed if it is on medication/sedatives?
Yes, we will groom your pet if they are on medications or sedatives.
Can my dog be sedated for their groom?

To be groomed at Peachy Pet Salon, your pet must be up to date on its Rabies Vaccine.
